Juicing

 

 

 

How I lost 5 pounds per week juicing: I juiced 10 single stalks of celery, a wedge of cabbage, a whole lemon, a clove of garlic, a clove of ginger and a green apple to make two cups of juiced veggies, which has enough enzymes to mop up a lot of poisons in the body. You can also use cucumbers as these veggies do not contain a lot of oxalates.  When eating a lot of green veggies, make sure to take probiotics. I did this for 5 weeks and lost 25 pounds. Note: Apples, lemons, and limes are the only fruits that can be mixed with veggies.

How Did I Get Parasites? How Can I Get Infections?

 

 

Bacteria, germs, parasites, and viruses can go in and come out anywhere from our porous skin. You get parasites, viruses and infections from: bumping against a post or item outside where a sick animal or human threw up and left the virus or bacteria on that surface; walking barefoot or wearing flip-flops; drinking dirty water, eating contaminated food, or eating with unwashed hands. These are all ways that you can get sick or infected with some type of bacteria. Everyone who touches you with their bare hands puts their bacteria into you since everyday things we are constantly touching like door handles can contain bacteria like Staph. This also applies when you cook with bare hands and touch raw animal blood.

 

 

Germs, bacteria, and parasites can go dormant for up to five years. When they feel your warm arm or knee, they are immediately activated and enter your body. Parasites need a host, so they lie dormant waiting for a warm body to come along. Once inside a body, these organisms start to grow. In 10 years, you would have 10 times as many parasites making you sick, causing you physical pain or ailments, and taking away your youthful beauty and vitality. If you practice good hygiene, you can have greater wellness, natural beauty, and mobility. Adopting practical, healthy lifestyle habits can make a world of difference! 

 

For example, avoiding sitting on the ground when there are 100 million to a billion germs and bacteria in every inch of soil is a good, healthy lifestyle habit to have because soil bacteria can enter your body through your pores and small, unseen skin cuts on your body. So in this way, information is power and it is a great preventive method.

Turmeric

 

 

 

Turmeric is a wide, foot-long herb with lily-like leaves and yellow to yellowish white flowers that is native to India, Bangladesh, and China. It has a strong taste and its yellow color is almost impossible to remove once it stains your clothes. The culinary and medicinal value of turmeric is in the root or rhizome, dried, and ground into a spice.

Creamy Cauliflower Sauce Over Zucchini Recipe Posted By Dr. Ben Kim - Easy Healthy Recipes

 

 

 

 

This creamy cauliflower sauce is very hearty and filling, but doesn't leave you feeling heavy. It can be served as a main dish or on the side of your dinner entrée. Feel free to substitute the zucchini with any vegetables that call out to you. Cauliflower sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
 


The key ingredient, cauliflower, is one of nature's best sources of indole-3-carbinol, a phytonutrient that helps stimulate cellular detoxification. Indole-3-carbinol also has the ability to prevent estrogen dominance. Many thanks to Breanna for sharing this recipe and the pictures with us. 

 


Ingredients
6 cups of water
2 zucchini
1 head cauliflower
1 teaspoon sea salt (more to taste)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
1 tablespoon chopped sage
8 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil

 


Directions


1. Add 6 cups of water to a large pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.


2. Roughly chop cauliflower into even chunks and place into boiling water. Boil cauliflower for 12-15 minutes, or until soft. It is better for the cauliflower to be too soft than too hard.


3. Remove cauliflower from pot with a slotted spoon and add it to a food processor or blender. Be sure to keep the boiled water, as you may need it to modify sauce consistency.


4. While cauliflower cools slightly, roughly chop the garlic.
5. Place one tablespoon of oil and chopped garlic in a large pan on medium heat.


6. Saute garlic until it is lightly browned and aromatic - No more than 5 minutes, as garlic has a bitter taste when burned.


7. Using a slotted spoon, remove the garlic and add it to the cauliflower in your food processor or blender. Set pan aside - You will use it again.


8. Add coconut milk, salt, pepper and sage to the food processor or blender. Blend the mixture thoroughly. If mixture is thicker than you'd like, add one tablespoon of the boiled water, blend, taste, and continue to adjust with boiled water and seasonings as desired.


9. After the sauce is ready, chop your zucchini, or use a spiralizer to transform it into zucchini noodles.


10. Add one tablespoon of oil to pan, and sauté zucchini on medium heat until soft. Stir constantly to ensure even coating of oil and even cooking.


11. Remove zucchini from heat, top with cauliflower sauce, and serve. Enjoy this lovely, nutrient-dense dish which will enhance the taste of any vegetable. To view a pictorial of this recipe, please go here:

How to Make a Dairy-Free and Cancer-Fighting Cream Sauce

 

 

 

 Note From Barbara: I add superfoods to my sauce including organic lemon peel powder, organic maca, turmeric, sometimes ginger root, raspberry powder and cranberry seed powder. Also, I don't use pepper unless it is cayenne. Black pepper is hard on the liver. You can use them over any veggies or food you are eating, and you can switch the cauliflower for another veggie you love 

 

 

Simple Healing Guacamole Recipe

 

 

I add 7-10 lemons to 9 mashed avocados and a whole bulb of garlic ( optional), 1 large whole onion, 3 or 4 bunches of cilantro or parsley, or as much as you want in it. ½ cup organic extra virgin olive or coconut oil, and pink sea salt to taste. I also slice about 5-7 sections of the lemon peel and add it to it. Blend it, which should make 2 quarts. The secret to the beautiful flavor is the garlic, lemon, and clean cilantro. This becomes a healing, delicious, alkaline food that is powerful for your body because you are providing your body with concentrated nutrients in the form of bio-available vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and powerful phytonutrients that nourish you from head to toe.

 

Your guacamole is ready to serve. Add a half cup to each meal.

How To Maintain Optimum Wellness: How The Human Body Works

 

 

 

We have known since the early 1930’s that in order for the body to function properly and to maintain optimum wellness, the general pH of the human system must be alkaline. Thus, the first thing we must do to maintain physical and emotional wellness is to alkalize the body. These are the two most important aspects of homeostasis: Alkalinizing the body and increasing the number of negative ions, which is essential for creating a healthy terrain in the human body.

 

Harmful bacteria and viruses cannot live in an alkalinized body. Drinking alkaline water, eating alkaline foods, and consuming vegetable enzymes are helpful for maintaining an alkaline body. 

 

 

What Is Arrhythmia?

 


A healthy heartbeat is stimulated by electrical pulses that arise from within the heart itself and spread 
throughout the heart in a coordinated pattern and cause cardiac muscle contractions that send blood pulsing through the body’s network of arteries and veins. Ideally, this system will work without problems. When there is a problem with this electrical system, however, an irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia may develop. There are several kinds of arrhythmias, depending on the nature of the abnormal heart rhythm: 

 

 

  • Tachyarrhythmia: rhythms that are abnormally rapid, with or without other abnormalities
  • Bradyarrhythmia: rhythms that are abnormally slow, with or without other abnormalities
  • Fibrillations: uncoordinated, very rapid and weak rhythms.

 

 

 

Sometimes, arrhythmia is also identified by where in the heart they arise. For example, atrial fibrillation describes a chaotic, quivering rhythm that occurs in the upper chambers of the heart, also known as the atria. Certain kinds of abnormal heartbeats are common. They occur even among healthy people occasionally; Sometimes, they are stimulated by emotion, fear, or even by drinking coffee. In these cases, they may pose no threat. If, however, you have abnormal heartbeats that become frequent or are associated with other symptoms, such as dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, or chest pain, you should visit a physician for evaluation. Arrhythmia can be caused by a number of underlying conditions or diseases. Very serious arrhythmia is a life-threatening, medical emergency.

 

 

Potential Causes of Arrhythmia

 

 


The four-chambered heart is made from special cardiac muscle that conducts electricity. Beats are 
generated by electrical impulses in the atria (top chambers of the heart) and are then conducted to the ventricles, where they produce the powerful muscle contraction that pumps blood. The generation and conduction of these electrical signals, as well as the muscle contraction itself, also depend on the flow of sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium through cardiac cellsImbalances in the levels of these minerals, as well as damage to cells (e.g. from surgery gone wrong, oxidants, toxins, or drugs), can prevent impulses from forming, causing them to form prematurely or prevent their proper conduction through the heart. The result is arrhythmia.

 

 

The following factors have been known to cause arrhythmia:

 

 

  • Food, drugs, and medications.
  • Coffee, tea, chocolate, red wine, or simply overeating may cause rapid heartbeats that may be frightening when felt, but are rarely serious.
  • People may have allergies or reactions to many other foods and beverages that cause transitory arrhythmia.
  • Long-term nicotine exposure and cocaine exposure can cause much more serious arrhythmia.
